Joanne has been a member of the church for 42 years. She served 4 years on the Discipleship committee. She has been instrumental in organizing the church Derby Days booth, picnics and campouts in the church woods, children’s carnivals, Christmas cookie walks and markets, mother/daughter banquets, and many other church events. Joanne loves working with the mission team, cooking, and working with other volunteers of the church.

Joanne has devoted a lifetime of giving to her family and community, and she loves working with the public and making new friends. As her children were growing up, she was active as cub scout leader, an advisor and chaperone for the TCN cheerleaders, and volunteer for many other school-related activities. She was a volunteer on the Lewisburg Fire Auxiliary for 20 years and a volunteer for the Lewisburg Emergency Unit for 5 years. She also worked 13 years at Brennan’s Foods and 15 years at the Lewisburg Pharmacy.

Joanne has been married to husband Don for 42 years. Her joys are her family: David and Beth Whipp of Lewisburg and their sons Cameron, Collin and Casey; Julie and Brad Harvey of Nicholasville, KY and their daughter Megan and son Tyler. "I have been retired for seven years.I love having more time for our grandkids and knowing I’m where I’m supposed to be with Don, family and serving God in his house."
