Pastor Mike

Pastor Mike is serving in his ninth year in Lewisburg, first as the Part-time Pastor of Calvary UMC (while finishing United Theological Seminary), then as the Pastor of both Calvary and Memorial UMC, before assuming the role on 12/2/01 as the Lead Pastor of the merged Lewisburg UMC. He is also currently the Cluster Leader of nine other area United Methodist churches.

Pastor Mike’s first career was in juvenile justice where he last served as Chief Probation Officer in Montgomery County and was the Founder of the Building Bridges Program (includes the George Foster Home). He also has served on the faculties of Xavier University Graduate School, the University of Dayton and Wilmington College. He was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in June 2004.

Pratt Family

His wife, Diane, is a kindergarten teacher in Huber Heights and leads Children’s Church and Children’s Choir. Both of their sons are public school teachers; Andy teaching 8th grade in Denver, and Joe the 6th grade in Worthington. Joe is married to Alyssa who is an exercise physiologist.
