TGI Wednesday: Betsy Slade Lock
Hello, I am Betsy Slade Lock. My story is not out of the ordinary but every stage has been a blessing in my life. I was born and raised on a farm in Northern Preble County and attended Castine United Methodist Church. I graduated from Tri County North High School and MCJVS in 1990 and began working as a hair stylist and manager at BoRics. I then married my high school sweetheart, Greg Lock in 1992. We had our first child daughter in 1994. It was shortly after that that I decided to become a stay at home Mom. In 2001 our second daughter was born and then in 2005 our son was added to our family of five. In Oct. of 2007 we started to attend Lewisburg United Methodist Church where I became active in the children’s department. I love children and the Lord has leaded me to help start a Weds. Night program for children ages 3 to 6th grade (TGIW~Thank God It’s Wednesday). Children are truly a blessing!
